Desperate times call for desperate measures
Desperate times call for desperate measures, so while my project is trying to go haywire, I find myself getting nifty about the many back up plans that I can come up with to keep it on track. My natural tendency to have plan A, B, C & D in place or at least thought out is a great help under pressure. Since I have already spent some time thinking of mitigation strategies, analyzing and putting them in place is then faster than trying to think them up in the first place.
However, I am starting to think that getting cooler under pressure is no good when manager’s tend to think that those who make the loudest noises and gets flustered are the one’s working harder. Something to think about over the coming long holiday while I will still unfortunately be glued to work.
Anyone got a different experience? or appreciation for staying cool under fire?
