Another great blog on appropriate networking and how to use your network without abusing it.
In the past couple of weeks I’ve been contacted by people in my network looking to connect to others in my network, looking for job opportunities or someone to conduct their business in this country. While I help out as much as I can, I find that it gets exasperating when the person requesting help takes it to the next level by asking me to do the work for them. Unfortunately, that’s where I have to draw the line. It is ok to contact me and ask me for information, but once provided, please take the ball and roll with it yourself. Don’t expect the person you contacted to do your work for you.
